Get the file for Mac with Apple Silicon from this page. It comes compressed.
Open it and move it to Applications
Double-click the file to unpack it and drag Whisperall into your Applications folder.
Open it and grant the permissions
The first time, macOS asks whether you want to open an app downloaded from the internet. Choose Open and allow the microphone.

macOS asks for each permission on its own. Whisperall only takes you to the setting when a feature needs it.

What you write on the Mac is on your Windows or Linux PC and on Android with the same account. You can also connect a folder or your Obsidian vault and edit the files where they live.

No. The version we publish is for Apple Silicon only, that is, Macs with an M1 chip or newer.

macOS applies Accessibility and Input Monitoring when the app opens again. Quit Whisperall and open it again. Meanwhile you can dictate with Ctrl+Shift+D.
